Grace Chisholm (she/they)
UK-born and raised in NZ, Grace is a queer performer that has always had an immense passion for theatre. Grace’s love for the performing arts has a focus on musicals, contemporary plays, and alternative music. She received the Drama Award in 2018 at her high school, As well as two Grade 8 distinctions from Trinity College of London Solo and Group Muscial Theatre Performance exams. She performed many roles such as Hope in Urinetown before entering University. During her formal training at the Arts Academy, Grace had the privilege to perform in Momo (Beppo) directed by Ross Hall, a Jukebox Musical of Twelfth Night (Viola/Cesario) directed by Angela Campbell and discovered her passion for songwriting in Exquisite Corpse 3.0 directed by Scott Middleton. Most recently, Grace performed a leading role in the hidden gem, Warp and Woof (Theo Heming) directed by Kim Durban. Grace co-wrote, directed, and performed in “A Christmas Tragedy” performed at the Motely Bauhaus this year, and will be a featured Soloist for a Christmas Concert in Ballarat this December.
