Gemma Dart is a quietly electric actor, writer and musician, and mother to a collection of over 200 indoor plants. Australian and UK audiences know her as Avalon Bracken in Home and Away and Joan in Stan’s Ten Pound Poms, and most recently she played Winnie in Play Dirty with Mark Wahlberg, which became Amazon Prime’s #1 watched movie shortly after release. Her entrance into film kicked off with her feature debut in Thor: Love and Thunder, after originally training for the stage. Gemma started performing at eight years old in local theatre — two years after deciding acting was the perfect-paired pursuit alongside her other creative anchor. Music is the flip side of Gemma’s creative coin — she’s a trained singer, self-taught guitarist and producer, and her talent for songwriting landed her in the world of ghostwriting for film and TV. Her solo work is released under AELION.
