Gabriela Chauca is a Kiwi-born Latina actor and writer. With a diverse body of work and a solid foundation in training, she studied at The Actors Program in Auckland, New Zealand. Her training also includes stints in Los Angeles at the Margie Haber Studio and Village Acting Studio, where she gained invaluable experience working with top industry professionals. Her career includes roles in local television shows such as Ahikāroa and Shortland Street, as well as a standout performances in her Graduation show 'Fake News' and the sold-out stage production 'No Time to Dry' at Auckland's Basement Theatre. Beyond acting she has also ventured into filmmaking, writing and starring in her own short film and more recently, gaining a place in the Script to Screen mentorship program 'South Shorts' where she has been refining her skills as a screenwriter. With her drive, dedication, and diverse skill set, Gabriela is an invaluable asset to any production.
