Evie (pronounced Ay-vee) emigrated with her family from cold, rainy Holland to the warm, beautiful beaches of Gubbi Gubbi Country/Noosa when she was just 3 years old.
From a young age Evie trained in ballet, jazz and contemporary/lyrical dance, as well as singing.
At age 17 she moved by herself to Naarm/Melbourne to continue her training as a performer. Evie is a proud graduate of Showfit, where she spent 2 years studying Musical Theatre.
In 2020 she was accepted into NIDA and worked hard developing her skills as a performing artist and has strong interest in pursuing stage, screen, musical theatre and physical theatre.
During her final year at NIDA acted in-development for residency with Midsumma Festival and Abbotsford Convent. In February of 2024 Evie starred in the play ALTAR headlining Midsumma Festival in Melbourne with a sold out season. As a queer woman, Evie is extremely passionate about being a part of creating and telling queer and diverse stories.
