Notes

Ella Oliphant (she/her) is a Brisbane / Northern Gold Coast based actress, best known for her upcoming role in Evil Dead Wrath and as Gertie in Netflix’s My Brilliant Career. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Queensland University of Technology (with Distinction and a minor in dance) in 2024. During her studies, her notable credits were Women in ‘Tender Napalm’ (2024) and Emily in ‘1972: The Future of Sex’ (2023). Previously, Ellas work focused predominantly within theatre and dance. She used to train as a Calisthenics dancer for 5 years and to this day, continues to draw on her movement background to bring physicality and choreographic detail to her work. Since 2018, she has appeared in 12 productions across Brisbane and Gold Coast - her favourite being Catherine Bennet / Charlotte in ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (2022), for which she received a GCLT Dolphin Award for Outstanding Performance in her understudy roles.
