Roman is South London born with Australian and Kiwi heritage. After moving to Sydney at the age of seven, he gained early acting experience across both screen and theatre, including the feature horror film Dead Sunrise (2017) and the Australian premiere of Jez Butterworth's play Jerusalem (2015). He later completed an in school barber apprenticeship before returning to acting, training at Screenwise. Roman has just wrapped his first professional television role in Treasure & Dirt, a six-part Australian crime drama series slated for 2026, directed by Madeline Gottlieb and produced by Easy Tiger for the ABC and BBC. The thriller follows Detective Ivan Lucic (Michael Dorman) and local detective Nell Buchanan (Liv Hewson) as they investigate a grizzly murder in a remote, struggling opal mining town. Based on the novel by Chris Hammer.
