Notes

Bachelor of Fine Arts: Victorian College of the Arts. Charlotte Salusinszky is an emerging actor and writer who brings natural charisma, rigour, and emotional depth to her work on stage and screen. Her look is similar to that of Eloise Mignon, or a young Helena Bonham Carter, Alex Bledel or Winona Ryder. She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2017, where she completed her Honours year in Theatre Practice. She has been widely praised for her solo autobiographical performances, Little Jokes in Times of War (KXT, 2022) and The Changelings (PACT, 2024), which have been described as, ‘a revelation’ (Suzy Goes See), and as being a, ‘toweringly ambitious feat’ (Kate Prendergast). Her theatre highlights include performing in Mercury Poisoning (KXT), re: groups’ POV (Belvoir 25a) and as playing William Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love (New Theatre). Her screen credits include short films A Lovely Place (Jessica DiCosta) and Fur Baby (Jonathan Weir), as well as the web series Hayden & Peter (Hayden Mustica). Charlotte is a member of Sydney Actor’s Studio, where she trains in voice and camera technique to hone her craft. It has no sentimentality. It is rigorous and fearless…This work deserves exposure again and again.” - Kevin Jackson Theatre Reviews
