Notes

Doug Mowbray graduated from the Adelaide College of the Arts in 2013 and has since built a career defined by range, presence, and authenticity. His screen credits include a leading role in the Australian independent feature Crew Cut, a supporting role in the Netflix miniseries My Brilliant Career, and appearances in Anzac Girls and The Tourist. Doug’s performances are grounded, charismatic, and deeply versatile. Known for his quick wit and natural sense of humour, he brings warmth and ease to lighter roles — yet can shift effortlessly into darker, more complex territory when the story demands it. With an athletic, country background, he embodies physical strength and realism on screen, while his instinctive emotional depth gives his characters a lived-in truth. Beyond the screen, Doug has appeared in numerous stage productions, music videos, and commercials, and has collaborated with filmmakers Danny and Michael Philippou (Talk to Me, Bring Her Back) on their YouTube channel RackaRacka. His growing body of work reflects an actor continually refining his craft — one whose versatility, instinct, and magnetic presence make him impossible to ignore.
