Notes

Danielle is a Malaysian-Australian actor and theatre maker based on Kaurna Country/Adelaide. She graduated with an Honours Degree from Flinders Drama Centre, and was a participant of the CAAP Artist Lab x South Australia held during the 2021 and 2022 OzAsia Festivals. Danielle is involved with ActNow Theatre, performing in their ongoing school show, Like Me, Like You. Her mainstage credits include portraying Coldhands in Dora Abraham’s Coldhands (RUMPUS Theatre), and herself in Here & There (ActNow Theatre, 2023 DreamBig Festival). Danielle was a sharehouse resident at Carclew in 2023 and has received funding from Helpmann Academy, Carclew, City of Adelaide, and Adelaide Fringe to develop her own projects. in 2024, Danielle wrote, produced, and performed in the world premiere of her first multi-disciplinary theatre project, Caught In Between, at the Adelaide Fringe. She won an Adelaide Fringe weekly award for her performance. Danielle is passionate about championing Asian-Australian stories on stage as well as screen, hoping to inspire more Asian-Australians to pursue a career in the arts.
