Jack Connell is a 21-year-old actor and filmmaker from Perth, Western Australia. In 2018 Jack was cast as Ralph, in Village Roadshows Australian Film "GO!", which was picked up by Netflix US. Retitled "Go Karts", the film entered Netflix's top 10 list in over 8 countries. Jack also plays the role of Cameron, a basketball star in the upcoming US web series "What We See". He played the role of Clarence von Hump, in the short film "Steamed Dreams" which was screened at the Portland and Houston Comedy Film Festivals in late 2020. Jack is also playing the role of Romeo in the upcoming Sitcom Pilot "Bunker Down Under", due for release in early 2021.
As a filmmaker, Jack recently wrote and directed the winning commercial for the IAA 'Big Idea' Competition, for ANZ. His short film "Steamed Dreams: An Extreme Ironing Story" has played in numerous film festivals and won Best Mockumentary at the Houston Comedy Film Festival. His latest short film "Bunker Down Under" - a Sitcom Pilot, is due for release in 2021.
He has just graduated from Edith Cowan University in Perth, with a Bachelor of Media and Communications, Minoring in Advertising. He aims to make films in Hollywood.
