Notes

Chelsie Preston Crayford, actor and filmmaker, brings an undeniable presence to her work both in front of and behind the camera. Early on in her career, she won an Australian Logie for her portrayal of Tilly Devine in UNDERBELLY: RAZOR, followed by an AACTA for THE CODE. A outstanding body of work has followed across film and television, and in 2024 Chelsie starred in leading roles in both DARK CITY: THE CLEANER and A REMARKABLE PLACE TO DIE. Other notable credits include THE LUMINARIES, SAVAGE, BABY DONE, THE PANTHERS, Netflix's THE ROYAL TREATMENT and critically acclaimed comedy NUDE TUESDAY. As a filmmaker, her second short FALLING UP won Best NZ Short at New Zealand International Film Festival in 2018 and screened at multiple film festivals including in competition at MIFF. Her third short IMPOSTER won her the Emerging Director Award at SF Shorts. She has recently wrapped her first feature CATERPILLAR with support from the NZFC. Winner Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent at the 2011 Logie Awards Winner AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress 2015
