Callum trained in theatre and circus. In the UK he was a founding member, actor and associate director of internationally award-winning and critically acclaimed theatre company 'The HandleBards'. To date he has portrayed approximately 60 characters in hundreds of theatre productions across 13 countries. He was very fortunate to have worked with practitioners from the RSC, the Globe, the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company and Adam Spiegel Productions. Callum worked as an Associate Producer at the Young Vic, London, on Theatre Uncut with BAFTA nominee Sarah Brocklehurst. Under Artistic Director, Hamish Jenkinson, he spent time producing at the Old Vic Tunnels, London, working with numerous production companies, including Olivier award-winner Marisa Carnesky and her production 'Tarot Drome' Callum moved to Auckland in 2021, where he formed the production companies 'Figment Productions' and 'Boyd and Brodie Productions.' These companies produce work in stage and screen, with his first production 'Waiting for Waiting for Godot' directed by Michael Hurst, having a sell out run at Q Theatre, Auckland followed by a sell out national tour. He is a writer, actor, director and producer with international touring experience.
