Byron Luckey has received a Diploma of Arts (Acting) from the Sydney Theatre School (STS) in 2017, performing in many plays over the years, and studied screen acting at NIDA Open. In 2014, Byron auditioned and was successful in his application to NIDA Screen Acting, graduating in 2015. He has had roles in Australian television series’, lead roles in several short films and in roles television commercials. Byron has always had a passion for acting and film, playing lead stage roles whilst in school and winning a short film competition. Byron attended a course at Australian Film, Television, and Radio School (AFTRS), studied the Yat Method with Janys Hayes, and completed the Greg Apps audition technique. Byron now studies at Sydney Actors Association with Sam Haft, further refining his skills in screen acting. Byron’s acting credits include ‘Bryant’ in the Channel 7 television series ‘Winter’ working alongside Rebecca Gibney, ‘Oliver’ lead character in short film ‘Alone ‘, ‘Peter’ supporting character in short film ‘Hell or High Rent’, lead character in short film ‘Blue’ and guest role in the ABC mini-series ‘Friday on my Mind’. During Byron’s year at the STS he performed various roles in an assortment of stage plays, including ‘Charles Condomine’ in Blithe Spirit and performing Jane Bodie’s ‘Still – Knowing not knowing’.
