Bronte has lived, trained and performed in Los Angeles, London and across Australia. She has extensive acting training in film and theatre, singing and dance training and improvisation training. Bronte is a bubbly, social, passionate creative who loves all aspects of the arts industry, she appreciates a challenge and puts 110% into each and every project. Bronte has had a passion for acting and performing since she was 5 years old. A highlight was the opportunity to work closely with Nicole Kidman on the movie Australia, directed by Baz Luhrmann, who gave her a reference. Bronte worked closely with Nicole Kidman and Bill Hunter for over a month, filming in Darwin, the Whitsundays and Fox Studios in Sydney. Bronte played lead actor in a live theatre production of 'The Cocoon' by Kotryna Gersait. After a sold out season at both Wynnum Fringe and Anywhere Festival, Bronte travelled to South Australia to perform a season at Adelaide Fringe Festival. The show received glowing reviews praising the actors… 'something very special and magical happened'… 'humorous and heartwarming, acted with perfect nuance... performance of the actors and the pace and storyline was perfect'… ‘talented actors who passionately embody their love struck characters'. Bronte travelled to Los Angeles, with a group selected (by audition) for a ‘Screen Acting for Film’ course with some of the top US Casting Directors, US Dialect Coaches, TVC Specialists and US Acting Teachers. Bronte continued her US acting training at ‘Young Actors Space’ with Patrick Day and Nora Eckstein, focusing on acting techniques and perfecting her US accent. Bronte spent time training with both ‘Second City’ and ‘Improv Olympic’ two of the top improvisation schools in the USA, based in Los Angeles. These schools have trained some of the world's top comedians and comedic actors. Bronte also had the opportunity to perform as part of a public improvisation performance at ‘Second City’ during this time. Bronte spent a year as an apprentice with Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble, where she trained with talented actors and directors, completed ‘Linklater 1 and 2’ workshops and trained intensively with Shakespeare's works and in ‘Speaking Shakespeare in your own voice’, she performed as part of a showcase performance playing iconic characters such at Malvolia in the Letter Scene in 'Twelfth Night', Marcus Brutus in the Tent Scene in 'Julius Caesar' and Hamlet in 'Hamlet'.
