Heather Edmonds is an actor and theatre maker, with broad experience across acting, playwriting, directing and working with young people that has taken her to Chiang Dao, Prague, Alice Springs, Darwin and Algonquin Park in Canada. Now based in Sydney, Heather spent the last two and a half years in Alice Springs, clowning around the hospital and across remote indigenous communities as a Captain Starlight with the Starlight Children’s Foundation. In 2022, Heather had her professional debut in The Messenger at Brown's Mart Theatre in Darwin. As a creative, Heather was supported by Red Hot Arts Central Australia to co-write and direct her first full-length play, Nook, which premiered at Desert Festival, Alice Springs. Heather was a 2021 participant of Australian Theatre for Young People’s national mentoring program Fresh Ink, where her plays received a public reading at Brown’s Mart Theatre in Darwin.
