ON SET EXPERIENCE Ashleigh is most known for her role of Alice in the ABC/CBBC/CNBC Television series “Out There” (Won best Children’s Series at Logie Awards). It was aired in AU, US, UK, EU and has worked alongside Australia’s greats Rodger Corser, Tina Bursill, Genevieve Hegney, Dave Roberts and more. Has also worked with USA's Cody Kasch & Britain's beloved Jade Ewen. Winner of BEST ACTRESS AWARD at Cannes Arts Film Festival. Ongoing set experience includes features, award winning shorts and multiple national TVCs (Comm Bank, YOUi, Ch9 & more) Australian-born and of Scottish descent. Ashleigh is a trained actor, dancer and singer, at prestigious institutions NIDA, AMAW, The McDonald College of Performing Arts, Sydney Dance Company and more. Commonly cast in nurturer type role such as mum, wife, teacher, counsellor, nurse, roommate/friend, bookish type OR the power woman with a commanding presence i.e. journalist, office worker, lawyer, detective, alpha - Often with a comedic lense. Other skills include : US General American, UK London cockney and Scottish accents. Proficient in many styles of dance (solo and partner), singing, swimming, drawing, surfing and has a trained dog Rufus (English Springer Spaniel) and a 2 year old female toddler.
