Anja Kastowsky

Anja Kastowsky is a motivated and enthusiastic creative with the ability to take on complex and diverse characters. Her performances are characterised by emotional depth, elegance, and strength, making her a compelling presence on screen. Between 2018 and 2022, she participated in a variety of artistic endeavours, including theatre, short films, and television. These experiences have given her a comprehensive understanding of collaborative production processes. Throughout her academic career, Anja enriched her acting skills by participating in short courses at NIDA and The Talent Co. Notably, her group performance was nominated for Onstage in 2019 as part of her HSC drama studies. Anja continued her education at the Academy of Film, Theatre & Television, earning a diploma in Screen Acting and Media in 2020. In the following years, Anja focused on honing specific skills through various short courses, such as an American Accent Course at Screenwise in 2021. In early 2022, she played the role of "girl at the party" for the NSW Government's #MakeNoDoubt Campaign, while pursuing her studies in Screen Acting with the New York Film Academy, Actors Studio, and TAFTA. She also continued to refine her accent work with Screenwise. In 2023, she dedicated a full year to training at The Actors Club, taking a variety of skill-building classes. These included multiple accent classes, genre variation and industry studies, among others. As well as studied online accent classes with NIDA. She has upcoming projects and courses aimed at maintaining her creative momentum and expanding her understanding of the art. For Anja, acting is a way to experience emotional and physical freedom through the medium of diverse characters.
