Anais Shand is a 19 year old actor based in Auckland, New Zealand. Her first guest role on screen was alongside a young Austin Butler in THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES; jumping forward to today, she has just wrapped the lead in a yet-to-be-announced feature film. Other notable highlights for Anais include playing 'Lucy’, a young girl living with an abusive father in THE GULF, and ‘Dora’ on the BBC/TVNZ/Seven Network series MYSTIC, which involved working with horses and underwater. Alongside acting, Anais is a professionally-trained dancer, having studied commercial jazz and hip hop for over 10 years, and has a regular practise in piano and guitar.
