Alex Hines is an actor, comedian and creative. Her high energy stage performances and keenly observational character work have seen her rapidly emerge as one of the most decorated performers in Australia. 2022 saw Alex take out the Golden Gibbo for her critically acclaimed show To Schapelle and Back, as well as a raft of nominations including Best Comedy at Melbourne Fringe. A recipient of the Ian Potter Cultural Fund, Alex underwent intensive training in LA at The Groundlings, UCB and Second City. As satirical popstar and Gay Icon Juniper Wilde, Alex has cemented herself as one of the best character actors in the country. Taking out a Green Room Award for Best Production as well as Best Feminist Work and Best Work by an Emerging Artist.
