After signing up for singing lessons at age 12 and attending music theatre classes, he made his professional music theatre debut as Friedrich Von Trapp in Gordon Frost Organisation’s 'The Sound Of Music' (2016). Throughout his schooling years, he was involved in a number of productions graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School as part of their Theatre Arts program. In 2020, Alex successfully completed his Diploma of Musical Theatre through Stage School Australia then moved to Ballarat to study a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Distinction) at Federation University Arts Academy (Company '23). Credits include Victor in ‘Frankenstein’ (dir. Ross Hall), Prince Gigi in the Australian premiere of ‘Momo’ (dir. Ross Hall, Anthony Crowley & Richard Chew) and as a swing in ‘MOTORMOUTH LOVES SUCKFACE: An Apocalyptic Musical’ (written and directed by Anthony Crowley). Since graduating, Alex has been touring full-time with Brainstorm Productions performing in front of up to 52,000 students across Victoria and South Australia. Credits include ‘Sticks and Stones’ (F-6 & 7-11), ‘Being Brave’ and ‘The Flipside’ (dir. Jenny Johnson). Alex is a proud member of MEAA.
