Notes

Theo Clarke grew up in Lismore on Bundjalung country and is a proud descendant of the Ngemba people from Brewarrina. He spent most of his childhood outside, where he loved to run fast and kick the ball around for hours in the backyard. Theo discovered he had a gift for soccer, and his drive led to him playing the game he loved at a high level. He was able to translate those sporting values when he studied Aboriginal performance at WAAPA. The strong focus on grassroots stories is what ignited Theo’s passion for storytelling and acting, leading him to NIDA. When he’s not acting, Theo loves making music, playing the guitar and getting out in nature. Theo is committed to telling real stories and creating work that reflects and questions what’s going on in the world and in his own community.
