Notes

Mikaela is an Australian Actor of mixed raced heritage she is a quarter Chinese, Scottish and Irish. ​She has worked on a variety of productions as an actor, singer and writer. A graduate of the University of Technology with a Bachelors in Fashion Design and Textiles. She has trained for several years with the Royal Academy of Dance. She has completed a variety of short courses at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, developing a range of essential performance skills​. She is currently a student of acting coach Felicity Jurd. She has contributed to her performances as a writer for Salt ( The house that Dan Built) and Muse ( The revolt). She was also Head Costume design for Backstages production of ​Hairspray​, Directed by Jake Bayssari. Mikaela starred as Eliza Doolittle, in Joanna Joy’s Pygmalion for UTS Backstage. Her quirky character won her a place in the “Best of 2015” list by well respected theatre reviewer Suzy Goes Sees.
