Nadia Komazec was born to entertain and she began training at her mother’s dance studio as soon as she could walk. She made her professional debut in 2006 as Meg Giry in the Australasian touring production of The Phantom of the Opera (RUG). Shortly after she then completed the 10th Anniversary tour of Mamma Mia! as U/S Sophie. Nadia’s other stage credits include, Cat Steven’s World Premiere, Moonshadow (U/S Lisa), Maggie in TML Enterprises A Chorus Line, Howard Panter/GFO’s Legally Blonde the Musical (U/S Serena), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (U/S Jolene). In 2015 Nadia was cast in Matilda The Musical (Royal Shakespeare Company/Louise Withers). Nadia understudied both Miss Honey and Mrs Wormwood. In 2017 Nadia was cast as Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show (GFO/GWB) which toured nationally into 2018. In between seasons of The Rocky Horror Show Nadia also landed the lead role of Campbell in Stage Master’s Bring it On the musical. Soon after Nadia was cast as Patti di Marco on an International Tour of ‘The School of Rock’ (GWB) in Australia, China and New Zealand. Just before the final season in Adelaide COVID hit. In 2021 Nadia landed the role of Holly in The Wedding Singer, produced by David Venn Enterprises. It was on this production that she met and fell in love with her onstage love Haydan Hawkins. They are now happily married and have an almost 2 year old son named Benedict. In 2022, whilst 9 months pregnant Nadia auditioned for and was offered the role of Rhonda Graam in Tina the Tina Turner musical, produced by TEG DAINTY productions. Nadia is currently touring with the production around Australia. On screen Nadia appeared in ABC3’s Season 2 of Dance Academy.
