Dancer, Singer, Actress based in Brisbane, Australia. Chelsea Francis is a hard-working, motivated, dedicated young artist emerging into the industry. Growing up in Brisbane, Chelsea studied at Ashgrove Dance Studio where she trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. While completing her schooling at Kelvin Grove State College, she also studied at Queensland Dance School of Excellence (2014-2015), then completed a Cert III in Dance (2016) and a Diploma of Musical Theatre (2017-2018) at RAW Dance Company, training under well renowned dancer and choreographer Jack Chambers. Upon graduating high school, Chelsea studied full-time at the highly acclaimed Australian Dance Performance Institute (2019) and received an Advanced Diploma of Art (Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance). In 2020, Chelsea furthered her full-time training, completing a Pre-Professional Year at LAUNCH Performing Arts Centre, training under Michelle Hopper Doyle as well as some of Australia’s best and well-known choreographers. During this year she also performed with Shepard at the AFL Grand Final. In 2021, she completed the Evolution Pre-Professional Program at Dynamite Studios Australia along with the Ignite Program with Velvet Rope Entertainment. She is an energetic and an enthusiastic young artist who is continually working on her skillset while pushing towards her first contract.
