Meg Williams (she/her) is a Melbourne-based artist who is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Raised in Brisbane, Meg made the interstate move in 2022 to commence her studies and has since performed as a soloist in ‘Marry Me a Little’ (dir. Tyran Parke), Featured Ensemble in ‘Morning Melodies’ (dir. Tyran Parke) and Ensemble in ‘Heathers’ (dir. Alister Smith). In her final year at VCA, Meg has been thrilled to portray the role of Ilse in ‘Spring Awakening’ (dir. Petra Kalive) and appear as featured ensemble in ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman). Meg was delighted to have sung an original song written by Broadway composer Carmel Dean at the Music Theatre Futures conference this year. She also has a strong passion for film and screen acting and is the proud recipient of the 2024 Ron and Naomi Freedman memorial award. In her spare time, you’re likely to find her buried in a good book or strumming her lefthanded guitar.
