April Rose Pengilly is an Australian actress represented by Benchmark Creative. April began her career as a successful model, working in Tokyo, London and New York and being selected for numerous prestigious roles, including ambassador for major Australian department store David Jones and face of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (now Virgin Atlantic Melbourne Fashion Festival). In 2009, April turned her focus to acting study and was soon cast in her first major role, in the indie feature film LBF. The film premiered internationally at South By Southwest in Texas and in Australia as part of the 2011 Sydney Film Festival. April has since worked on numerous short films, music videos and TV series, including the Channel 7 miniseries PETER ALLEN: NOT THE BOY NEXT DOOR (airing September 2015) and the short film OBJECT, which was shown at the Byron Bay Film Festival, as part of Cinema des Antipodes at the Cannes and St Tropez film festivals and at Australians In Film showcases in Los Angeles in both 2014 and 2015. In 2014, April was a contestant on DANCING WITH THE STARS and was nominated for PETA's annual Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity Awards. She also runs her own fashion/lifestyle blog, which was nominated as a finalist in the Ultrabook Pedestrian.TV Blogster Awards in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
