Classically trained, Lauren Daniels has been acting for over ten years, and performed in over 30 theatrical productions, short films and television shows. Favourite roles include Catherine in Stan Australia Series Invisible Boys (Dir. Nicholas Verso, 2025), Nina in short film Blush, Andie in I can Still See All the Stars (at Perth Theatre State of Play, 2025), both Don Pedro and Beatrice in two separate productions of Much Ado About Nothing (Dir. Alys Daroy, 2023; Dir. Ruby Liddelow, 2024), and multiple roles with Primadonna Productions (Dir. Carole Dhu) – Aunt Eller in Oklahoma!, Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof and Donkey in Shrek. Lauren is currently studying theatre and drama at Murdoch University under Dr. Alys Daroy and has received extensive screen training from Jeremy Levi to develop their craft across screen and stage. Recently taking to directing and producing, Lauren started their own theatre company the By My Troth Theatre Company (BMT Theatre Co.) where they directed and starred as Jo Watson in Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Speckled Band (2025). As a queer actor, Lauren is passionate about using theatre to share queer people’s stories. After getting a taste for the film industry, Lauren is looking forward to travelling for their career and growing their acting skills both on and off screen.
