Shonee Samia is a Gold Coast-based actor, producer, and motion-capture performer. As a proud Maori-Samoan creative, she brings emotional depth and versatility to every role, with recent credits including starring as "The Tourist" in the feature film "The Nut Farm,""Ruff & Ruby," (web series), "The Brutal Alchemy of Water." (short film) which are both up for consideration at the 2026 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards. She most recently returning from the US as a soldier in "Battlefield 6" (2025) which is a game she voiced and acted as a motion capture performer. She also won Best Actor and Lead Performance at the Yeah Nah Horror Festival for her performance in "Ripe for Change." Trained in stunts she has officially obtained her first lead stunt double credit for a major US feature film (Spa Weekend) set for a cinema release in 2026. A two-time Gold Coast Screen Professional of the Year nominee (2024/2025) and founder of Mana Film Productions, she's known for production and returning from the 2024 Festival De Cannes (Cannes Film Festival) for the "Heart of the Man" feature film being selected through the Queer to Screen #GoesToCanne initiative. Shonee continues to craft stories through her performances and storytelling abilities that embody mana, strength, soul, and truth - both on screen and off.
