Notes

Rory was born and raised in Perth Australia. While training in the acting course at WAAPA Rory performed in a variety of plays with world renowned directors. His highlights were playing Benedick in Shakespeare’s 'Much Ado About Nothing', Charles Darnay in Dickens’ 'A Tale of Two Cities' as well as Rodolpho in Arthur Millers’ 'A View from the Bridge'. Rory also received a number of awards while at WAAPA including the 2015 SDTAWA Poetry Speaking Award, the Sally Burton Shakespeare Award for his role as 'Hamlet', and he was runner up for the 2016 Chris Edmund Scholarship. Recently Rory played the lead role of Chris in the short film 'Saving Face', directed by Paul Komadina. Rory is a singer/song writer in a professional blues band and plans to follow his dual passion for acting and music in the future.
