Originally from Perth, Laura moved to Melbourne in 2005 to study at The Victorian College of the Arts.
In Australia, she has guest starred on 'The Doctor Blake Mysteries', 'Neighbours' and 'Underbelly,' and has played leading roles in stage productions of 'Lottie in the Late Afternoon'; 'Yes, Prime Minister'; 'Danny and the Deep Blue Sea'; 'The Lonesome West' (KIN); 'Macbeth ReArisen'; 'Attempts on Her Life'; 'Rhinoceros'; 'Romeo & Juliet'; 'Glimpse' (KIN); 'The Motion of Light in Water'; 'Segue'; 'Europe' and 'Melburnalia'.
Her music theatre credits include leading roles in 'Anne of Green Gables' and 'Peter Pan'.
Laura has trained with Larry Moss, and with Alan Savage in New York; where she worked on the long-running Off-Broadway show 'Going Once, Laughing Twice', and on Lincoln Centre's development of Finnegan Kruckemeyer's award-winning play 'The Boy at the Edge of Everything'.
Laura is a founding member of The KIN Collective, and has directed productions for them including 'Glimpse' (2012) and Will Eno’s 'Title and Deed' (2017).
Laura speaks French, throws the javelin, and holds a U.S. Greencard. She is MEAA and SAG-eligible. When she’s not acting, Laura designs and delivers physical theatre and dance programs for Australian high school students studying overseas.
