Playing wide ranging characters in feature films, short films, TVC's and corporate training videos highlight Nita Naris' acting experience and range over the last 5 years. Recently she was a producer on the feature film Water Horse. She also has experience in print campaigns for Woolworths, Sydney Water, NRMA, Xiidra, Twinings tea, and various beauty, hair and pharmaceutical products. Being on set on movies such as Alien the Covenant, Truth, and TV series such as Love Child, Rake and Hyde and Seek, Nita was able to observe and learn from award winning actors and directors working their magic first hand. Presenting and acting scenarios for educational purposes for health providers, government agencies, banks and private enterprises helped hone her skills for flexibility, learning multiple roles quickly and improvisation. A background in science with 25 years experience as a clinician all contributed to her ability to fulfil those roles and understand characters from different points of view. Nita maintains and refreshes her skills by doing lessons and feedback with various acting coaches, private sessions, masterclasses and has recently completed a US Accent course. As a teenager, Nita represented NSW in artistic gymnastics at an elite level, and has kept up her passion for being fit and healthy. She enjoys reformer pilates, yoga, watersports and cooking is her love language for her family and friends.
