Freya Boltman (she/her) is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with a BFA in Music Theatre. She has worked on stage and screen, recently appearing as Mim (lead) in the short film 'Nice Jewish Girl' which will be screened by the British Film Institute as part of their shorts festival in March 2026. She has appeared in several ensembles for Victorian Opera and performed at the international festival WOMADelaide. At the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Freya’s credits include featured soloist in ‘Morning Melodies’ (dir. Tyran Parke) at Hamer Hall, Stoner Chick in ‘Heathers’ (dir. Alister Smith), Adult Women in ‘Spring Awakening (dir. Petra Kalive) and Johnny Harmon in ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman). In 2020, Freya was cast as Hodel in the Yiddish production of 'Fiddler on the Roof' which was cancelled due to COVID-19. Freya speaks French, is proficient in Hebrew and Yiddish, and hopes to perform internationally on both the stage and screen.
