Indiana Jamie is a Sydney-based actor, musician, writer, and a 2025 graduate of Actors Centre Australia. She first got a taste for the screen industry while living on the Gold Coast, working as a featured extra and dancer on productions such as Aquaman and Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Being on those large-scale sets as an early teen solidified her desire to pursue a career in acting and filmmaking.
In 2020, after receiving a full scholarship to Australian Performing Arts Grammar School, Indiana moved to Sydney to immerse herself in the arts. Around this time, she began writing more than just songs, creating her first play 'How to Have Hard Conversations.'
She was one of six international finalists for The Juilliard School, and later committed to PACE University for Musical Theatre on scholarship, but ultimately chose to stay in Australia and continue building her career locally.
In 2023, she began training at Actors Centre Australia, where she performed the role of Hedda Gabler in Hedda Gabler, Dir. Adam Cook (2024), and appeared in productions of Don’s Party, Macbeth, A Lie of the Mind, and Top Girls, developing her theatrical skills across both classical and contemporary work.
Alongside acting, Indiana is also a musician and songwriter, with a strong focus on creating her own independent work. She’s set to make her first leading on-screen appearance as Lou/Puff in PUFF (2026), directed by Scout Harper May (@puffthewebseries), and will also appear in Crashout, directed by Nick Annas. She is currently developing her debut proof of concept, MY MUM, THE ASSASSIN, and has recently reprised her role of Lorraine in A Lie of the Mind at New Theatre in January 2026.
