Born to Indian parents living in Sydney, acting wasn't really on Ariyan's mind for much of his upbringing. He enjoyed singing and impersonating Disney characters but it wasn't until his final schooling years that he found his passion for performing. Upon leaving school, Ariyan entered straight into the Diploma of Musical Theatre course at NIDA. Here, he honed his singing, acting and dancing abilities before being accepted into the NIDA BFA Singing Actor program. He wrapped up his studies in 2023. Behind the scenes, Ariyan loves playing musical instruments, film photography and practising new skills.
