Bronte Zerafa (She/Her) is a driven Meanjin based actor and creative. Grown up in Darwin Northern Territory. Finishing her time at QUT Acting (2025) she brings a unique and polished charm to her work. Known for her strong screen and stage presence, cheeky but infectious smile, Bronte focuses on performing truthful and authentic work that leaves a lasting impact on her audience.
Growing up in Darwin, she’s been surrounded by sports her entire life, competing in both swimming and netball at a state level. She has had a strong passion for the arts since childhood, creating her own work when opportunities seemed scarce; the saying “if Bronte wants something, nothing will get in her way” was born. Submitting original work for the Darwin Fringe Festival, joining choirs, taking acting classes, and putting her name down for every school musical/play available, it was this passion that led her to Brisbane, where she was accepted into QUT’s prestigious acting course.
Recent stage credits include; Housekeeper from Blood Wedding (Directed by Timothy Wynn, QUT, 2025), Brutus from Shakespeare in a Suitcase (Directed by Francessca Savige, QUT, 2024).
Her most recent film credit includes a lead role in Spring Chicken (2025), produced by Short Walk Studios, a Take48 Award Winner. Furthermore, Bronte is currently in pre-production for original short film anthology Frayed Knots (2026) in which she will be acting, directing and producing.
