Lisa is a singer, dancer, actor and choreographer and has been performing professionally in Australia and overseas since she was 12. A highly respected “triple threat performer”,her professional musical theatre credits include National tours of The Rocky Horror Show, Jerry’s Girls, Hot Shoe Shuffle, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Oscar’s Turn to Sing, Dusty and What the World Needs Now. She starred in Kookaburra Productions’ Pippin as Fastrada, Hello Again as The Whore, and as Jenna in The Goodbye Girl at The Hayes Theatre
She played Maggie in the Australian tour of A Chorus Line, originated the role of Bonnie-Mae in Nick Enright and Max Lambert’s Miracle City for Sydney Theatre Company and was an original member of The Trio, Shena, in both the workshop and full productions of The Boy from Oz, she most recently played Millicent Winter in Nice Work if you Can Get It at The Hayes Theatre and is currently touring regional Australia as the Soap Star in Menopause The Musical.
She was in the Gillian Armstrong movie Starstruck as a Suzie Quatro wannabe and played “Dominatrix” in the Baz Luhrmann film Moulin Rouge.
Lisa has worked in all facets of the Australian entertainment industry. As a commercial dancer she has worked with Choreographers including Jason Gilkison, David Atkins and John O’Connell. Lisa was Assistant Choreographer to the late Ross Coleman over a 10 year period on a variety of major projects, television specials and events, including The Logies, World’s Greatest Dance Spectacular and the opening of Movieworld, Malaysia.
She was Associate Director/ Choreographer on Catch Me If You Can at the Hayes Theatre and choreographed the Boy From Oz 2020 Live from Lockdown video.
Most recently she Choreographed Anyone Can Whistle for Neglected Musicals and was Assistant Director/ Choreographer on Singin’ In The Rain In Concert for QPAC and Prospero Arts and Nice Work If You Can Get It for MGM Productions and The Hayes Theatre.
She has also choreographed and staged numerous corporate events for clients such as QVB, Westpac, Australian Fashion Week and The Sydney Swans. She was also Staging Director on The NSW Premier's Concerts for 5 years.
She has appeared in numerous commercials, featured in the Hahn Superdry series, is an accomplished voice over artist and has been heard as a session vocalist, singing the theme for ABC TV's Hungry Beast and jingles for Nova, 2Day FM, Channel 10 and Tooheys, to name a few. She has performed at hundreds of major corporate events both at home, interstate and overseas and her extensive television credits include Home and Away, 30 Seconds, The Morning Show and Sunrise to name a few.
Lisa has performed live with and recorded for artists such as Marcia Hines, Paulini, Paul Mac, Chrissie Amphlett, The Eurogliders, Rhonda Burchmore, Caroline O’Connor, Deni Hines and Christine Anu
She regularly tours with Todd McKenney and is featured on his album The Songs Of Peter Allen
Lisa has been a sought after teacher all over Australia, throughout her career and has taught and mentored literally hundreds of young performers over the last 30 years. From 2016-2022, in her role as Head of Arts Education and Training at Australia’s premier performing arts training institution, Brent Street, she oversaw and curated curriculum, taught jazz, tap, musical theatre and vocals, performance coaching and directed and choreographed over 20 productions for the Full Time Performing Arts and Musical Theatre Diploma Courses.
