Amanda King is a Melbourne-based performer who grew up in Sydney, performing since high school. She has acted in a number of short films including playing the lead in ‘Dear, Dissociate’ (dir. Jeremy Heddle) which was selected for the Lorne Film Festival in 2019. She graduated with a degree in acting from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and since then has engaged in generating new work with other creatives in the industry. She recently played the lead and only role in ‘Fruitcake’ for the 2024 season of Melbourne Fringe. She has had the immense joy of working with directors such as Marcel Dorney, Mark Wilson and Yoni Prior. Amanda is an industrious and multi-faceted performer who will always surprise you with something new.
