Notes
Kirill King stars in the upcoming feature film From All Sides (Festival de Cannes, IFFM, QS Film Festival). His performance earned critical acclaim, including a FilmInk feature article spotlighting his role in the film. He was also sponsored by Giorgio Armani for the film’s red-carpet premieres. Kirill has appeared in Everything In Between (Festival de Cannes
Écrans), the long-running series Home and Away, and gained international recognition for his role as a soldier in Explosions in the Sky.
Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine and raised in Australia, Kirill maintains a strong connection to his Ukrainian heritage. He is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian and has represented his culture both nationally and internationally through Ukrainian Cossack dancing, including by invitation of the Ukrainian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Outside of acting, he enjoys screenwriting, singing, sports, and supporting his beloved Chelsea Football Club.
Working in the industry since the age of ten, Kirill was a finalist for Search for a Movie Star, completed his three-year acting degree at AC Arts (Adelaide College of the Arts), and is fast developing a versatile career. With roles ranging from the antagonist star-football player in Glasshouse to the protagonist superhero Captain Victorious, several of which have been selected for festivals including AFF and Tropfest.
His theatre credits include leading roles in Road (directed by multi-award-winning director Chris Drummond), comedy The Waiting Room, and the musical La La Luna.
