Damien is originally from Adelaide, and lives in Sydney's Inner West. He trained at Actors Centre Australia, and is currently performing at Improv Theatre Sydney. For full tapes and reels: https://vimeo.com/damiencarr Website: https://www.damiencarr.com/ In 2018 Damien graduated from Actors Centre Australia and then started working with Anthony Brandon Wong on Chubbuck technique to access a deeper and wider range of emotional vulnerability with a specific focus on screen acting. Damien has also trained privately with screen acting coach Pip Edwards with a focus on audition technique and career progression. In 2020, mid pandemic, Damien started training at Improv Theatre Sydney and completed the 6 level coarse in December 2021 and won a spot on an Improv Theatre Sydney house team, performing in Redfern throughout 2022. Damien has played guitar since he was a teenager and rediscovered blues electric guitar in 2021 and has built an awesome collection of guitars and guitar gear. Damien trained in film at Sydney Film School and developed a short film team and entered multiple shorts into a range of Sydney competitions. At the same time, Damien worked extensively in independent theatre having started in the industry back in Adelaide.
