Born in India, raised in Canada, Jazba found a home in Australia during the pandemic. After studying acting techniques in LA, Toronto and Melbourne, Jazba made her acting debut in Bollywood with a lead role in acclaimed South Indian director TN Krishna’s HIPPI which saw an international release in cinemas and is now on Amazon Prime. Jazba was also the host of CELEBRATE OTTAWA on Rogers TV in Canada and has presented a number of investigative documentaries around the world.
She made her filmmaking debut with the short EATING THE OTHER which has played at Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals around the world. The film was chosen as part of Canada's prestigious Emerging 20 Screenwriter's Development Lab with the Reelworld Screen Institute and Jazba is currently developing it into a feature screenplay which she intends to produce and star in.
Holding a master’s degree in Sociology and Law, Jazba speaks English in a North American accent and is conversational in Hindi as well as being professionally trained in Bollywood dance.
She currently splits her time between Australia and Canada and is represented in both markets.
