Margot is an actor, improvisor, director, devisor, certified intimacy director and acting teacher, originally from Gadigal country (Sydney) and now resident in Naarm (Melbourne). Trained as an actor at the VCA (University of Melbourne), over the past seven years she’s extended her skills through Michael Chekhov Technique training in the USA and Europe. As an actor she’s worked with Melbourne Theatre Company, State Theatre Company of South Australia, Arts Centre Melbourne, Windmill, La Mama, Darlinghurst Theatre, Hothouse, and fortyfive downstairs, amongst others, and has appeared in guest roles on many Australia tv series over her thirty year career. Margot is one of a small number of Australian certified intimacy professionals, having been awarded one of eight MEAA-Equity Foundation scholarships to train with IDC, USA. She's also a director, with a particular passion for new works - or for reframing old ones with the context of contemporary culture.
