Amy Veronica Stockow is an Australian actor, dancer & singer based in Brisbane, QLD. After graduating from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (2020), Amy has been involved in a variety of theatre and film productions across the state. Most recently, Amy performed in Shepherd’s Purse Theatre Company’s 10-year anniversary show, ‘All the Worlds a Stage’ (2025). This production celebrated scenes from Shakespeare, where she had the privilege of portraying characters such as Juliet (Romeo & Juliet), Isabella (Measure for Measure) and Perdita (A Winter’s Tale). Amy received critical acclaim for her performance in this production from Stage Whispers, Australia’s National Theatre Magazine. Amy was also involved with Shephard’s Purse Theatre Company last year in their production of ‘The Tempest’ (2024) where she played Miranda. Earlier in the year, Amy portrayed the main protagonist in the short film ‘Darlene’ (2025) and was also a part of a short period piece ‘Sacrilege’ (2025). Over the years, Amy has featured in a variety of short films that have been showcased at film festivals worldwide, her highlights include ‘Salvation’ (2022) and ‘Prima’ (2021). In 2022, she was given the privilege from the Mackay Regional Council to write, create and perform ‘Steady Eddy’ (2022): an educational road safety program for kindergarten students. This was a rewarding experience that received fantastic appraise. Amy continues her training, learning from aspiring artists, industry professionals and through all the opportunities that are presented to her.
