Notes

Jana Zvedeniuk is an Australian-Russian actress of Jewish heritage. Fluent in French and conversational in Hebrew and Russian, Jana’s cultural background has strongly informed her practice. Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2020, Jana has featured alongside Sigrid Thornton in the upcoming Australian feature film, “SLANT" (dir. James Vinson), and "BUMP" Season 2, in the Russian-English speaking role of Katarina. Further credits include Young Vicky in Season 2 of Netflix’s "GLITCH" (dir. Emma Freeman), and the AACTA, MIFF and MQFF nominated short films: “WOOF!" (dir. Nina Buxton), "Losing It" (dir. Nikki Richards), and "Backing up Bilitis" (dir. AP Pobjoy). In 2016 Jana was nominated alongside Radha Mitchell as Best Female Actress at the NIFF for her performance in “WOOF!”. Equally passionate about theatre, Jana has recently played the role of Castiza in Bell Shakespeare's "Revenger's Tragedy" (dir. Priscilla Jackman), Play in a Day performance. For her graduate performances at VCA, Jana was fortunate enough to play the leading role of Sarah Crannock in “Earthquakes in London” (dir.
