Ursula Searle (she/her) is a multi-faceted performer raised in South East Asia who specialises in classical voice and physical theatre. In 2019 she graduated from Monash University with a double degree in B. Arts Theatre/Performance and B. Music Classical Voice.
Ursula’s experience in classical singing and her Dutch/Indonesian background have culminated in her ability to sing in more than eight languages. Since graduation, Ursula lived and worked in Berlin where she performed, directed, and stage-managed with the Berlin Opera Academy, as well as with Berlin Musicals in their production of Songs for a New World (Woman 1). Since returning,
Ursula is proud to be represented by Ian White Management, and most recently Ursula performed in Citizen Theatre’s new play Mara KORPER at Theatreworks which received rave reviews. Ursula is excited to be a part of Birthday Book of Storms this August, as it combines her love of feminism, literature, and languages.
