Having recently moved from New Zealand to study at the Brisbane Academy of Musical
Theatre, Eleanor grieve has played many roles, from ranging LES MISERABLES to
SPAMALOT.
Eleanor started her journey at six years old, training in classical opera. After moving back to
New Zealand, she began further training under talented teachers such as Lenore Brooker,
Ruth Reed, Phillipa Drinkwater, and others. In the year 2018, She was invited to study at the
NZ Singing School for two weeks. Here, she landed a lifetime opportunity to study at the
Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre in Brisbane, Australia. Having now completed a
Certificate IV in Musical Theatre (BAMT) and an ATCL Diploma (Trinity College). She now
continues her study under the tutelage of Shaun McCallum, Laine Loxlea- Danann, and Tim
O’ Conner in the Performance Course.
Some recent credits include LADY OF THE LAKE in SPAMALOT, VI MOORE in FOOTLOOSE, a
featured vocalist in the 2020 MAJOR SHOWCASE, and Understudying for Eponine In LES
MISERABLES.
While being busy in the life of the musical theatre, Eleanor loves being active and enjoys
indulging in many hobbies! Such as playing the Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, and extending her
range on the Trombone. As well as Knitting, Drawing, and staying physically fit in the manner
of going to the gym, walks, or hiking outdoors!
