Jane discovered her passion for acting and performing at high school which led to working with U25 Theatre Group and Styx Performing Troupe where she trained comprehensively under Richard Hayes-Marshall (Le Coq) in physical theatre including character, mask and performance. Over 15 years she performed at many festivals on stilts as well as Commedia dell’arte and European Clown. Jane has also trained under many industry professionals in a variety of workshops including Roger Hodgman from The Melbourne Theatre Company and the National Theatre Drama School (VIC) and more recently with Peter Rasmussen (BNE). She was also a contributing actor in the script ensemble for Melbourne Writers' Theatre in the 90's. Her CV includes numerous fringe productions at The Athenaeum, La Mama Theatre, Theatreworks and the Carlton Courthouse Theatre (VIC) and more recently following her move to Northern NSW in 2012, two productions with Uki Moon Theatre. She also had a variety of guest roles in TV dramas and comedy in the 90's. Jane ressurected her film acting career with short films in 2024, Flowers for Bridie (QUT) and lead, Eleanor in Wisdom Tooth (Dir. Travis Vetier) to be realeased in 2025 and is looking forward to her role as Mum in QUT 2025 Grad film, How To Move.
