Notes

Narii (they/he) is an emerging actor and director living in Naarm (Melbourne) of Pacific Islander and Irish descent. They are completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre) at the Victorian College of Arts, where they hope to refine their skills in performing and devising. Since beginning his studies, Narii has immersed himself in independent theatre, performing as Hamlet in ‘HAML3T’ (dir. Laura Charlton and Sabina Donato) at the 2022 Melbourne Fringe Festival, and as Achilles in ‘Patroclus and Achilles’ (dir. Josh Higgins and Alexi O’Keefe). In 2023, he wrote and directed his first original show 'Lovemachine' as part of VCA's student led theatre festival MUSE.
