Originally from the town of Murwillumbah, Bundjalung Country, Pirie is an actor who has secured leading roles in various feature and short films, including Sydney (dir. Oliver Motum) and Flowers for Bridie (dir. Sally Osterberg). Her recent theatre credits include Sickbay (awarded Festival Favourite, dir. Tom Anderson), La Boite Encores’ X-Stacy (dir. Courtney Stewart), and Space Cowboy (dir. Wesley Enoch). Pirie has recently been awarded the Jennifer Blocksidge Memorial Award scholarship and is currently in rehearsal for Sickbay the short film, a production supported by this scholarship (dir. Tom Anderson).
