Julia (she/her) is a dynamic queer actor based in Naarm, Melbourne. She graduated from Ballarat’s Arts Academy with a Bachelor of Acting in 2020. Her studies deepened her love for storytelling and the emotions it evokes. Julia most recently finished performing in the successful season of 'Glory Down the Line', a Bask Theatre production performed at The Butterfly Club. Her other recent theatre credit includes 'Sweetpea', a Mover’s Call Theatre Company production performed at Theatre Works’ Explosive Factory and described by reviewers as a “bold and brazen piece” where “emotion is laid bare and queerness celebrated”. At the end of last year, Julia wrapped filming Mx Mummy, a short film that was shortlisted for the Melbourne Queer Film Festival's Pitch Pleez 2024. Julia is eager to continue sharing vital stories with the world, ones that feature diverse, multifaceted characters that reflect societal issues and nuances.
