Notes

Caity is a dancer, singer, actor originally from Sydney, NSW. At the age of eighteen she packed up her life to move to Melbourne after being accepted into the Music Theatre Foundation program at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2016. In 2018, she began the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). During her study, Caity was a featured dancer and vocalist for ‘Morning Melodies 2019’ at Hamer Hall (dir. Jayde Kirchert), Ensemble in ‘On The Town’ (dir. Adam Mitchell), and created and performed in ‘Mongrel’ (dir. Maude Davey). Earlier in 2020, Caity was delighted to complete Dance Masterclasses with The Verdon Fosse Legacy in New York City at Steps On Broadway with Dana Moore, Mimi Quillin and Mary Ann Lamb. She also completed a Fosse Masterclass with Broadway Arts Community, learning from Ann Reinking and Dylis Croman. Caity is the honored recipient of the 2019 Melbourne Global Scholars Award, the 2020 Grace Marion Wilson Trust Scholarship, the 2020 Cassidy Bequest Scholarship and the 2020 Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation Music Theatre- Industry Award for Best Audition. Caity was thrilled to perform as Princess Puffer in ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’ (dir. Jason Langley) and Ms Pressman in ‘Our House’ (dir. Tyran Parke) to finish up her time at VCA.
